Makeup and Women

Imagine a beautiful little girl or women in your mind. Just imagine what a beautiful little girl of women can look like. Nice body good-looking eyes sexy body looks at you all sexy likes she wants. These are the type of women you can get as scary ghost or dead women in horror films. Makeup artist do a fantastic job making these beautiful women into scary ghost and haunting images that they bring onto our mind. According to Horror Movies Make Up Pictures - FunOnTheNet, one of the best makeup artist used was in the horror movie Thirteen Ghost. Thirteen Ghosts had to use many talented makeup artists to create its ghostly people that if you watch the movie you can still picture them in your mind and memories that come back and give u a Goosebumps. One other film that was good and that made a beautiful woman into not at all beautiful is the movie An American Werewolf in Paris. Julie Delpy one of the main actors in the movie is pretty. However, the professional makeup artist makes her into ugly Julie Delpy and scares many young children. The shining in 1980 was a hit with makeup and with big bucks money. The shining can be defined as a horror film because of the great makeup they use on actor Shelley Duvall. Shelley Duvall is a beautiful well figure woman but in a scene, she is a frightening terrible woman that will just haunt you. Sometimes I think how do they do the makeup really well on her good looking face, but they always find a way to bring out the extreme horror of women. There are so many horror films that use makeup and some are good but some are bad One of the best makeup ever use was on the popular film Franklinstein. As horror, still pump our hearts and show us how bad fear gets I still consider how bad it really can get. If you want to be, a makeup artist here is a tip you can use for Halloween… Makup tips

  1. This is a very interesting topic. Taking theatre classes, I have had a first hand experience doing makeup. In the last play I was in, I had to make a huge fake mustache. It is amazing the things you can do with makeup. As you said the prettiest of women can be transformed into the most hideous beings. Makeup plays a key part in horror movies from gruesome wounds to scary creatures from another world.

  3. This is very true Jesse, without these artists we would never be able to see some scary stuff. They do an amazing job at changing these actors into monsters. It just the coolest thing ever. The special effects also add to these actresses too.

  4. This was a really good blog. So completely true! One of my favorite horror movies is The Shining not only because of Jack Nicholson's creepy abilities but also because of the make-up and special effects. The little girls in the hallway jump from semi-cute/creepy and alive to horribly bloody and dead. There was so much blood and the girls looked so incredibly gross that just thinking about it could give you chills.
Half the fun of horror movies is the make-up. Make-up artists abilities to make gouls and zombies more realistic is something they are constantly improving on! I love it.
Nice choice of topic! Keep it coming!

  5. This was a very interesting blog. It really is amazing that makeup can transform a really beautiful girl into an ugly monster. Although, makeup does have the ability to transform a everyday girl into something really beautiful. Makeup in movies has come so far when you compare it to the makeup of earlier movie. Sometimes a little fake blood is the better alternative to CGI. Makeup artists have a tough job because they strive to have no one notice. The only time that anyone thinks about a makeup artist is when the makeup is apparent.

  6. Good Blog Jesse. As I was reading this there was one female "terror inspirer" that popped into my head over and over again. Linda Blair in the Exorcist was a very scary looking creature. It is truly amazing how they can turn anybody into the stuff nightmares are made of. Movie makeup has been around for a very long time, yet it has not lost its appeal, because computer graphics have yet to make it "completely" real. The time and dedication that goes into this literal art form is one of the things that make this genre of film one of the best.
