Horror films

Horror films have given people an exciting and scary feeling. These feelings can occur in movie theaters, people houses, or in your own house. The definition of horror films are unsettling films design to frighten and panic, cause dread and alarm, and to invoke our hidden worst fears. Thats according to http://www.filmsite.org/horrorfilms.html. These films make our heart beat faster, and at the same time were so interested on whats gonna pop out on the tv screen or whats gonna come at us. Ive been watching horror films since I can remember. I really like watching these films because im always interested on what is gonna happen next on the film. Horror films often go to there darkside, a side where evil comes loose. Watching scary creatures or even old ladies coming at you is a very scary feeling. I like the fact how directors can make something that your comfortable at, then making that scene into a scary one. Some examples are like in your bedroom or in the shower. Scenes such as the movie Phyco where the killer is about to kill a girl in the shower made me feel that even in the safest places you can be killed at anytime and anywhere. Watching that movie made me feel how frightning a movie can become into. Now that i have watch so many horror movies i know many that are good and also many that are not. Horror films have been set since the past 100 years when we started to see scary shadows and aslo think of ghost in our minds. But what horror films have become now they keep on getting better and better. Making our minds and heart beat faster and faster i really like that feeling, just like a roller coaster ride.

  1. Horror films have definitely come along ways than they were before. The graphics are a major part that has changed in horror movies. I am personally not a huge fan of horror films because I do not enjoy getting scared unexpectedly. I do have friends who make me watch horror films, so I have seen plenty. I agree with you that horror films show you that even in the safest places you think, you can get killed there. That right there just creeps me out thinking about that!

  2. Horror films are definately not one of my favorite types of movies. First off, the acting in most horror films are always terrible. The characters in every single horror movie are rediculously dumb. They all fall down while they are running, and they constantly freeze when the bad guy is running after them. I hate spending money to have my self scared. If I'm going to spend $8 on a movie, I want to leave with a good feeling. Some people like horror films, but I'm a comedy kind of guy.

  3. Horror films are great entertainment. The funny thing about them is that most of the time they are so predictable that it is almost pointless to watch, but I myself am entertained as to how the plot is unraveled. When I was a little kid, I was terrified of Freddy. I would have nightmares about him night after night. I couldn't watch the movies until about a year ago. I realized that they are so cheesie! I don't know what it is about this genre of film, but I agree that for the most part they keep getting better and better.
